Tutorial Tuesday: Nursing Cover

A friend recently had her third child and I knew that even though she has done this whole new baby thing two other times, she would really like some new hand-made baby gear as a gift. My trusty sewing machine and I set to work and this is what we came up with.
The tie onesie and diaper/wipes carrier are both things that I have made many times. What is new is the nursing cover draped over the back of the chair. I have been thinking of making one of these for a while. When I had Peachy I ended up ordering one with a promotion a company was running at the time. When it arrived, I knew that I could do better. It wasn't anything special. I have seen lots of tutorials for nursing covers on the internet and a quick search brought this one from Sew Much Ado, a blog I read frequently. It was a very well written tutorial. Super easy to follow. And I was so pleased with the results. I know I will be making one for my personal use with Little Cream.

I love this. It's so hard to find super cute unique things for boys! (I know, I have two of them.) Girls? Easy-peasy. So many choices.

Currently I don't have any little boy babies to give to, but I'm going to try to remember this if I do. :)

Love that tie onesie! I think a 3rd child should mandate lots of gifts...

I think that everything wrote was actually very reasonable.
But, what about this? suppose you were to write a killer headline?
I am not suggesting your information isn't good., but suppose you added a title that makes people desire more? I mean "Tutorial Tuesday: Nursing Cover" is kinda boring. You could glance at Yahoo's home page and watch how they create article headlines to get people to click.
You might add a related video or a related picture or two to grab people excited about
everything've written. Just my opinion, it could make your website a little bit more interesting.

First of all I would like to say awesome blog!

I had a quick question in which I'd like to ask if you don't mind.
I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your
head prior to writing. I've had trouble clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or tips? Thanks!
