Baby Cream: 3 Months
Last week our little girl turned 3 months old. I really have a hard time believing how big she is getting. She is definitely not a newborn anymore. She is still doing really well. Her fussy periods in the evenings are starting to diminish. She is still doing well with her eating and her sleeping. (Although she was sleeping through the night for a while, now she is back to waking once a night.) She has an adorable smile that lights up her entire face.
I just love seeing her personality now. Her little thighs are starting to get rolls. Love it!! She is still an eratic pooper. She will go for days without pooping and then it all comes. (I am sure you all wanted to know that!) She also still has her clogged tear duct. (She has had this since birth and apparently they usually clear up within the first year. It means that her tears can't drain normally so she ends up with a goopy eye much of the time.) We have started giving her a bottle more often and she is doing well with it.
She prefers to be sitting up most of the time, but is getting a bit more content with being on the floor. However, tummy time is still not much fun. She has been battling a cold for the last few weeks, but thankfully it doesn't seem to bother her a whole lot. She also is working on getting her first teeth!! Peachy was an early teether as well, but it still seems so early. Her fists are constantly in her mouth lately and she is drooling like a fountain. We don't go long without a drool bib right now. She is a fairly content baby, but when something goes wrong, watch out!! She will let you know.

Happy Three Months, Baby Girl
In some ways it seems like yesterday. In some ways it seems like forever ago. Time is funny that way.
Little Peachy turns 3 months old today.
I can't imagine our life without her. What did I used to do all day?
Now that she is three months old, her personality is definitely starting to come out.
She is curious about the world around her. (That usually means that naps are hard to come by when we aren't at home.)
She loves to smile at people. (When she is in the right mood.)
She can lift her head up to look at things now. (She really likes the flower and lady bug hanging from her car seat handle.)
Some days she sleeps and sleeps and sleeps. (Sometimes for hours in a row.)
Some days she just gets in little cat naps.
She still hates tummy time.
She is so close to rolling over from her back to her front. (Her shoulders keep getting in the way.)
She has transitioned from our closet to the living room. (I still hear every little sound she makes.)
We have started to put her into her crib in her room for naps and plan on having her sleep down there at night soon as well.
She still isn't back to sleeping through the night. (Those two plus weeks were sure nice and I look forward to uninterrupted sleep again.)
Some mornings she wakes up talking instead of crying.
She likes to talk to anyone and anything when the mood hits.
She likes her bouncy seat.
She is starting to hold herself up in a sitting position on our laps for a few seconds at a time.
She is truly a miracle and a blessing from the Lord and I can't wait to see what the next month brings.
