Gobble, Gobble, Gobble

Have you gotten your fill of Thanksgiving cuteness??? Here is just a little more. When I saw the turkey shirt tutorial at The Cottage Home, I knew that I would have to give it a try. Three shirts later . . .

Don't worry, I shared the wealth. Little Peachy got to keep one shirt and the others were mailed away to other adorable little ones.

Valentine's Day Love

Here are the Valentine's Little Peachy shared with her playgroup buddies.

I simply wrapped scrapbook paper around an animal cracker box.
Then I added a printed message strip and the initial of the recipient. Super easy and cute.

I mailed these lovebird hand-towels off to two lovebirds in my family. (They made it safely all the way to Japan.)

As long as I was making lovebirds, I added one to the front of this onesie.

Awesome Argile

I recently made this onesie and shoe set for a family member to give as a baby shower gift.

I was excited to make little boy shoes. It took a little modification from the pattern I had, but I am very happy with how they turned out.

My Big Debut

The MOMS Club that I am a member of hosted a Holiday Showcase and Rummage sale this weekend. Members were able to bring their rummage to be sold as well as items that they sell. There was a Pampered Chef Booth, a Tastefully Simple Booth, a Shakely Booth, and various handcrafted items. I had grand plans of what I could all make and sell. But I learned that you need quadruple the time to get projects done once you have a little one to care for. I was able to get a few items together for the sale. I was out the door by 7:45 a.m. Saturday. (M was able to stay home and care for Peachy. Believe it or not, this was the longest time that I spent away from her. I was glad that I could leave her in her father's capable hands.) When I returned home around 2:30, I had lighter bins and some extra cash. For the first time selling my wares, I was pretty happy.

I decorated 20 onsies. 10 were for boys with ties and suspenders and 10 were for girls with flowers and birds. (Sorry that I can't get the birds to fly straight.)

I had some small ($7) and some large taggie blankets ($12) on hand. (I also had some burp clothes in my gift bin that I sold for $2/piece.)

I also whipped up some crayon rolls. (They were finished at 11 p.m. Friday night with the help of M.) They sold for $5/piece.

If you are interested in purchasing any of the items that I have left over, please leave a comment with your email address and we can work out the details.

CYO: Couture Kid Clothes

I can spend forever and a day on Etsy. (For those of you who don't know, Etsy is like a craft fair on line. Different crafters post pictures of their creations and you can buy them and have them shipped to your very own home.) I love looking at all of the creative ideas out there. I have to admit that I am more apt to steal the idea than buy it, though. A while back I found the most adorable onsies for little boys. I saved the picture to my craft file on my computer for future reference. Being that we had a little girl, I was unable to use the idea for her, but I kept the idea filed away for a future date. And that day came when one of M's friends had their little guy.
I purchased white long sleeved onsies from Target and dipped into my fabric stash to create these.
