Tutorial Tuesday: Pleated Flower Pin

Did you notice the skirt Peachy was wearing for the photo shoot? It took me a little bit to figure out what we should all wear. I decided to go with a less is more approach and keep us all coordinating without being matchy-matchy. The pattern for the skirt can be found on Etsy at Noodles and Milk.

The pattern is very simple and easy enough for a beginning sewer. I have had this thing with adding flowers to my creations lately, and decided to try this tutorial from Cute As a Fox. I decided to make my flower with 10 petals. I made five a little bit bigger and five a little bit smaller. I also added a covered button to the middle. This is an easy way to make adorable flowers. I can't wait to make some more!
Sorry this one is on its side. I guess it didn't have its V-8!!

The pink and the brown together is beautiful! 'Tis the season for flower accessories, too! This turned out lovely.
