Baby Blankets Complete

Here are the baby blankets I wrote about earlier this week that I created following Elisabeth's tutorial at Growing Your Home. They were so much fun to make and I love how they turned out. I used jumbo ric-rac, which was supper fun and maybe a little easier since you don't have to be quite so precise.
The first one is for a new baby who is due at the end of September. They aren't finding out the gender, so I went with a more neutral cotton fabric for the top and a black flannel for the back.
(Sorry for the poor picture quality, it was a dark and stormy day!)
The other is for a girl. I choose a pink polka dot for the front and a brown flannel for the back with a fun fuchsia ric-rac.
Ah, that's better. Now the sun is shinning.
