If you know any two year olds, you know how they study your every move, your every word, every task and then try it out for themselves. Little Peachy is no different. She has been watching me at my "machines" since little on and loves to work at her own "machine."

Monkey Birthday Party
Warning!! This post is photo heavy!!
I am finally getting around to posting about Peachy's 2nd birthday party. (A large part of this is due to the fact that I was too busy to take many of my own pictures. Thank goodness I have friends that are not only great photographers, but also snap happy. Thanks, ladies!)
I decided a while back that a monkey party would be in order for Peachy's birthday celebration. I told her about her monkey birthday probably about a month before the actual event. Since she really didn't know that much about birthdays at that point, I didn't think it would make that much of an impact. Boy was I wrong. For that entire month we heard about her monkey birthday everyday. If anyone asked her about her birthday, she would happily declare, "Monkey Birthday!!"
Here are the pictures and details of how the Monkey Birthday went.

Foodie Friday: Berry, Berry Banana Bread
After seeing this recipe on The Idea Room and having all of the ingredients on hand, Peachy and I gave it a whirl on Monday. I am sorry to say that it is so good that it is almost all gone. :o( Next time I will I have to make a double batch.

28 Weeks with Number Two
Here I am at 28 weeks with our little Cream. Everything continues to go well. I am starting to slow down a bit and need more sleep again, but other than that I am keeping on. I almost feel as if the sleeping is more comfortable this time around. Maybe I am just remembering how it was later on with Peachy, but I remember feeling very sore after sleeping. This time around I feel less sore after sleeping.
I had an appointment last week and was measuring right on. The heartbeat was 150 bpm. I also took the one hour glucose test and received the results that I passed. No gestational diabetes for me. (Sorry Shlebs.)
One change that I have noticed recently is the movement. I am feeling this little one moving all the time. I am guessing that (s)he changed positions and this allows me to feel the movements a little bit more. The other night I was actually watching me belly shake, rattle and roll. Fun.

Wednesday Wishes . . . Part 3
This Wednesday I wish . . .
. . . to be the best mom I can be to the little one the Lord has already blessed our lives with and the little one that will be making an appearance at the end of the summer.
. . . to spend as much time as possible soaking up the warm rays of summer.
. . . to spend more time thinking about others than thinking of myself.
